Say goodbye to back pain with BISKO, your daily weapon against TMS
The Back is often associated with workers in the construction or heavy industry sectors. But I have to say: BISKO d’Exofair is also designed for individuals, tradespeople, and small businesses that want to protect their backs during physical labor.
Whether you’re a farmer, a caregiver, a handyman, or simply someone who regularly carries loads, this lumbar support can help you with your daily activities: handling cardboard boxes, gardening, DIY projects, or moving things around the house.
BISKO Presentation: Textile Lumbar Support
The BISKO d’Exofair is a passive lumbar support designed to relieve strain on the back when carrying loads or performing prolonged tasks in a bent-over position.
This ergonomic device is worn like clothing or a harness and can be put on in a matter of seconds. Once in place, you’ll quickly forget it’s there, allowing you to go about your activities without any restrictions.
It is therefore suitable for everyday use in many sectors: logistics, light industry, agriculture, skilled trades, and domestic activities.
Its design is based primarily on a lightweight, flexible fabric that hugs the bust and thighs without constricting the body. The wearer therefore retains a great deal of freedom of movement, including squatting, kneeling, or sitting.
How does BISKO work?
Like the OmniSuit by Auxivo and Agadexo,BISKO by Exofair is a lumbar, yet passive, exoskeleton designed to relieve back strain when carrying heavy loads or if you’re used to working for long periods with your upper body bent forward.
The principle of operation is based on elastomers that tend to bend forward. Energy is then stored and subsequently released during the adjustment that accompanies the movement, thereby reducing the stress felt during lifting.
This support can provide up to about 15 kg of mechanical assistance to the back and hip muscles. Part of the load is transferred to the thighs, which helps relieve pressure on the lumbar spine and reduce muscle fatigue.
This initiative promotes the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and back pain associated with repetitive strain.
BISKO also relies on a patented differential assist mechanism that allows for a high degree of freedom of movement.
To make it easier to use, it comes in standard sizes with several settings and a fabric washer. Its passive system provides unlimited autonomy without the need for batteries or electronic maintenance.
BISKO Testing and Inspections
Weighing 740 g, BISKO stands out for its lightness.
In this field, it is particularly valued in professions that involve frequent cargo transport and physically demanding tasks. Its compact, fabric-based design and freedom of movement at the hips and knees contribute to a high level of comfort.
The benefit is particularly noticeable during repetitive forward-bending tasks. Reducing the perceived load—by up to 15 kg—leads to lower muscle tension and delayed fatigue.
Another notable advantage is its price, which is under 1,000 euros, making it an affordable solution for both individuals and businesses looking to equip several users.
Ultimately, BISKO seems to be an interesting compromise between comfort, ease of use, and the reduction of lower back strain, especially for businesses and individuals looking for a lightweight, discreet, and affordable back support to help reduce MSDs.
